Account
Account is where you sign in or out of a Chainabit account, and the one place App Settings reflects your plan rather than a local preference. Everything else in App Settings changes how NEXUS behaves on your machine; Account is the exception, because plan limits and gated features are decided by your account, not by anything stored locally.
You do not need to be signed in to use NEXUS day to day — sessions, agents, panes, and the Neural Map are all local. Signing in matters specifically for the plan-gated features called out across this guide: 3D Room, Backup & Sync, and Cross-Agent Orchestration.

Notes
The Plan rows are read-only — this section shows what your plan includes, it doesn't let you change it. If a feature elsewhere in the app shows a locked state or an "Upgrade to unlock" link, this is where you'd confirm what your current plan actually covers before assuming something's broken.
Signing out doesn't delete anything you've built locally. Agents, sessions, workspace layout, and pinned memory are all local state and stay exactly as they were; signing back in only re-establishes which plan-gated features are available to you.
If you just upgraded your plan, give it a moment before assuming something's still broken: plan and feature checks are served from a cached snapshot, and a newly granted feature can take up to 300 seconds to appear here. See Entitlements for the technical detail.
