Notifications
General Notifications defines the default delivery rules for terminal events. Individual workspaces can inherit those defaults, customize selected events, or mute their own terminal-event notifications.
These settings do not change live status in a pane, roster tile, or Neural Map node. They only control whether the corresponding event is added to the notification center and, where available, presented as an in-app or system notification.
General Notifications

Turning Enable Notifications off silences these events for every workspace without changing their individual General or workspace-specific choices. Turning it back on restores the choices as they were.
Command Completed is off by default. The other three events default to on so that failures, exits, and errors remain visible when their session is not in view.
The system notification button hands off to macOS. Banner style, sound, lock-screen visibility, and operating-system permission remain under macOS control.
Workspace Notifications
Open a workspace's contextual settings and use Notification Behavior:

Workspace settings are isolated: changing one workspace does not alter another workspace or the General defaults. Changes are staged with the rest of the workspace form and take effect after Save.
The General master switch has final authority. A workspace cannot turn an event back on while Enable Notifications is off.
Notification-center scopes
The notification center can filter by:
- All Scopes — General and workspace notifications.
- General — application-level notifications.
- A workspace name — notifications associated with that workspace.
Scope filtering combines with type, date, unread, and sort controls. It changes only the visible list; it does not delete notifications or alter delivery preferences.
